The man, James Victore, will be at our Meatpacking Studio tomorrow night for an informal discussion of his work. The exhibit, Hell Bent, will feature many of his designs including surfboards, a recent Time cover, and a custom table setting made for our Cross Extension Table. Those plates and the incredible tablecloth, seen above, will be on sale during the evening. And the first 75 folks will get a t-shirt designed specifically for the event. Happening Thursday, September 25 at 7pm.

The DWR Annex in Secaucus, New Jersey, is always a marvelous place for the design obsessed – it’s full of the best in modern design at a discount. But every once in a while, we pull out all the stops. This weekend, during the DWR Annex Warehouse sale, you can save up to 80% on things like a Barcelona Chair, the LC4 Chaise Longue or a Christopher Farr Rug (all that and more are pictured above). During this two-day event, additional markdowns will be taken on already-discounted items at the Annex. Plus, a free shuttle service will be leaving hourly from the brand-new-just-opened DWR: Tools for Living store in SoHo. Learn more about all this here.
