Rob Forbes to present at DWR Austin.
Most of us have a vision for a well-designed modern house, chair or pair of shoes. However, very few of us have a vision for a well-designed modern city. What kind of transportation and mobility solutions are necessary for modern cities to thrive? If you live in Austin, you can toss around ideas with Rob Forbes and Leo Marmol on February 18. Join them at the DWR Austin Studio for their event: Smart design in the public sector. For the rest of you, check back after the event and we’ll post some of the ideas that emerge from what promises to be a lively discussion. In the meantime, use the Comments field below to share smart transportation solutions and ideas for cool and provocative design in the public sector. If electric vehicles ever take hold then we should build public parking lots with battery rechargers that are powered by solar panels. You could build carport like structures that would house the panels and also provide shade for the vehicles. Just a thought.

I always enjoy hearing what Rob Forbes has to say because he has such a unique way of seeing & describing the world around us.
Just a suggestion-it would be nice if he did the same stint around the Bay Area, then I'd be able show up & watch this.

It’s great to see professionals at the top of their game present material that educates, informs, and shines a light on their craft. This is especially true when the presentation holds value for both the inexperienced and the expert. Thank you for a presentation from the top of the food chain! Metal Carport
