Milan: Day Two - Meet the Grasshopper.
We love, love, love the Grasshopper Floor Lamp designed by Greta Grossman - and we're very excited to tell you that it will soon be part of the DWR assortment. At a recent Wright Auction in Chicago, one of these lamps sold for $13,000 (wow!) and we promise that we'll have it at a price point far, far, far below that. The photo below is the DWR team with our partners at Gubi, the wonderful company that produces this fully-licensed lamp. I can't wait to tell you more about Grossman - an amazing woman who designed an incredible portfolio of work.

The DWR newsletters are timely, precise, up to date commentary on the design world, and refreshing! Far superior to the original newsletters, and insightful with great photos.

I was currently on the verge of buying a floor lamp for a space in my living room, but I might hold off if you think this will be at DWR within the next half year. Any idea what your ETA is (for selling the lamp in the store)? Thanks!

The Grasshopper will be in DWR Studios in October. We hope you can wait until then. It's a fabulous floor lamp. -DWR
