EamesLoungeDWR
When designing their Lounge and Ottoman (1956), Charles and Ray Eames asked themselves, “How do you design a chair for someone else?” The solution they came up with was to look for the universal side of themselves and design for that, since “we all have more in common with each other than we do with a rock, tree or fish.” (P.S. The iconic Eames Lounge is included in The Herman Miller Sale at DWR.)
