Inspired by the local fairs he attended while growing up in Arkansas, interior designer Brad Ford founded Field + Supply, an arts and crafts fair with a modern, elevated approach. “As an adult, I long for that experience but my taste level has become a bit more elevated. I wanted to create a similar feeling but in a new context.”
Making its debut on Columbus Day weekend, Field + Supply will be held at the Black Barn in the Hudson Valley. Featuring a curated assortment of woodworkers, designers and artists, the exhibitors include Egg Collective (the designers of the Harvey Mirror, coming soon to DWR), A.B.K., Eric Bonnin Ceramics, Westwind Orchard, Michael Robbins and others. Culinary magazine Gather Journal and design website Remodelista will host pop-up booths to showcase an assortment of their favorite products.

While you’re in the Hudson Valley, be sure to check out Storm King, Gastrotypographicalassemblage, DIA:Beacon, Phoenicia Flea Market, Russel Wright’s Manitoga and Paul Rudolph’s Brutalist masterpiece in Goshen.
